Stephen Holland
Stephen has been with the Persuasion team since April 2010. Originally from Nottingham, he moved to the north east in 2004 and graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Film Studies and English Literature.
Deciding on a career in PR, Stephen completed a number of work placements in London, including a stint in the press office for BBC’s EastEnders, where he was gutted to discover that the Queen Vic isn’t a real pub. Stephen then returned to the toon and worked in the Seven Stories Museum’s marketing department, before joining Persuasion in April 2010.
Bringing creative ideas and strong writing skills to the table, Stephen manages PR initiatives for a number of clients in disciplines such as media relations, press releases, newsletters, news articles, social media and direct mail.
A dedicated film buff, when he’s not in the cinema you’ll probably catch him at a local gig or getting his zen on at Yoga.
Stephen loves Bjork, old records and peanut butter, but hates spiders. Really, really, really hates spiders. And he’ll never say no to a cup of tea – unless it’s made by Paul!
If Stephen was an animal he would be a Meerkat – sociable, funny and loyal.
