New ways of Persuasion
Ta-da! If you’re reading this it must mean you are visiting our brand new website and what a lovely website it is. Our old website was looking, well –old, so we thought it time for a little revamp. I say little, I wrote most of the copy for it when snow was still on the ground and the photos were taken back in May. But here it is, green, purple and hopefully persuasive.
On the new site you get to see exactly who we are and finally put some names to faces. You can also look at some past examples of work Persuasion PR has carried out and there is even a small Q&A section where we hope to answer a few of the most common questions people tend to ask about pr. Something my mum should read, she still has no idea what I do. Please have a play around with the site and see what you think; it will not change the world but all feedback is appreciated.
So that’s a new website, a new member of staff, Stephen, and a new house for Dawn. All that was needed was some new clients. Well what do you know; we have some of those as well. In the past couple of months we have won a contract to work with Fastflow, a utility services provider based in Washington. We have already begun work implementing a press and media strategy which has so far delivered some great results. The production and development of a corporate video is in the pipeline – no apologies for the pun.
Other recent wins include work to support specialist engineering manufacturer, Credfeld with a number of client appreciation days and produce some associated copy.
To really round off a great week Stephen and myself spent Thursday morning assembling this new desk. Despite the Glaswegian delivery driver exclaiming: “U’ll never get it in there laddy.” like brave warriors we attacked that flat pack monster. Here we are posing proudly upon the conquered beast. I’ve never felt so manly.
What with all that’s going on we’ve been a little slack updating our supposedly weekly blog but I’ve marched around the office and made everyone promise some sort contribution over the next few weeks. I’m looking forward to seeing what the team come up with. Most of our blogs tend to be just comment about what has been happening in the media recently but occasionally there is some interesting insight. For 140 character updates on what the Persuasion team is up to you can always follow us on Twitter.
We don’t always go in for this at Persuasion but we thought it time for some well deserved back slapping and a cheeky glass of bubbly – if only we had the time.
